Before the start of the lesson, we were task with downloading and learning the simple workings of Fusion 360. Fusion 360 is a Computed Aided Software, in short, CAD, that allows the creator to make any design of their prototype, product, or design into the software. So we went ahead and made our own keychain design.

Ms Oh then went ahead with the teaching of the Constraints sketch. Constraint sketches are functions that help with the proper definition of the dimensions you want of your design, for instance, setting a pair of lines as parallel will make the lines parallel to each other, however, it will not make their length equal, which can be set by the equal.

With the help of constraints sketches, Ms Oh guided us along and we made a sample design that uses functions such as Line at Tangent of Circle, Coincide, Equal.

After learning the basics of CAD using Fusion 360, we were tasked to make a photo frame with the set amount of theoretical materials we only can use.

There are four parts of the photo frame and we split the work up to make it:

Outer body frame - Iman

Clear acrylic front - Emily

Inner photo holder - Syufyan

Photo frame back - Alex

Here's the final design of our group's photo frame.

Here's an exploded view of the photo frame, from its separated perspective to its assembled perspective.

A clear summary of what your group has learned in week 7. It will be great if your team can add how your group can apply it in your project idea.

By the way, I noticed that your group has not submitted week 12 and 13 and Practical 3 blog entries. Please remember to do so.
