Team bonding
In order to get to know each other, we were tasked to do some activity as a group and take pictures of us bonding. Together we did 5 different tasks under 15 minutes. This is a great start of the module!

Chemical Product
What is a chemical product? This question was asked to kick start our brainstorming in this module.
Chemical product are products that are designed with chemical engineering principles.
This connect back to our previous modules on "thermodynamics", "heat transfer" and "fluid flow".
This bring us to our next task. We are tasked to think of a chemical product and explain its chemical engineering principles.

The product our group thought of was a catalytic exhaust used by vehicles.
Exhaust gas enter catalytic exhaust, an redox reaction occurs at the catalyst made of platinum. Detoxified gas are emitted out the car through a pipe.
Although this concept about how it works is more on chemistry, but building the product require chemical engineering knowledges like the temperature require for the reaction to occur, maintaining the temperature.

After hearing devices from other groups that use the fundamentals of chemical engineering, we were amazed by how much of our home appliances uses these mechanics
Those these are 2 simple activities assigned by Ms Oh, it forces us to think quickly and execute them as a squad with simple ideas.
