ICPD, also known as Introduction to Chemical Product Design, a module which we will take us step by step in and designing products. This allows us to be able to conceive and design a chemical products, which will finally lead to our FYP, Capstone Project, the materialization of a prototype of our idea and design.
WHAT IS ICPD?
ICPD stands for Introduction to Chemical Product Design, which is the first step towards our Capstone Project.
Using what we've learned from our core modules, such as Heat Transfer and Equipment, Fluid Flow, and Equipment and Thermodynamics, we have to implement these fundamentals of chemical engineering to conceive and design a product that improves everyday hassle.
How is ICPD preparing us for the future?
ICPD will equip us with the relevant skills which will prepare us for the demand of the future workforce.
Linking of fundamentals to consumer uses, we can create or improve on existing products or applications with real life problems that can ease our daily life.

How ICPD carries to Capstone Project?
As MFD, Material for Design was a small experience for us to conceive, design, implement and operate to execute an idea of a product, we will now do the real thing of brainstorming our ideas that we will execute for our Capstone Project.
ICPD will take us to step by step in mastering the concept of conceiving and designing chemical products with the fundamentals of our core modules.
We will then proceed with CPDD and finally, the Capstone Project, in which we will have to apply all of what we've learned from MFD, ICPD, CPDD to be able to conceive, design, implement and operate to create a chemical product.
