Corrugated Fibreboard

Composition of Corrugated fibreboard: a sheet of corrugated material in the centre and 2 layers of paper between the fluted material. Two main types of paper liners are Kraft and Test liners. Lines comprise 2 different layers. First, a basic layer is used for adhesion and strength. Second, a finer “cover” layer is used mainly for improved aesthetics and to aid printing. Different specifications of Corrugated fibreboard will have different applications for specific fulfillments. Specifications such as type of paper material, paperweights & GSM, wall types, flutes types. With different specifications met, the fulfillments the Corrugated fibreboard can handle without being folded can be from light stress to intensive heavy stress.

Mechanism to automate the wing flapping

The base is a rectangle box with an opening at the front and we used an L brace to make the rectangle box. As for the wings to flap, we used a string to tie both sets of the wings. The wings flapped due to the tension of the string. The greater the tension of the string, the more the wings will spread open and vice versa. We also attached a pebble to make a handle for the user. So that the user can pull up and down the string for the wings to flap.
